Ways to print all your tabs: built-in options and extensions compared

Chrome's print dialog prints one tab at a time. You can print each tab yourself, or save each as a PDF and merge the files. Several Chrome Web Store extensions print or save many tabs in one job, with different outputs, ratings and privacy statements. MultiTab Print | Print All Tabs is free, runs locally, and gives you one native print dialog or one PDF.

Compare the options

The table lists each option as its own listing or page shows it on the check date. Where a listing does not show a field, the table says "not stated" rather than guessing.

Which to choose

  • Two or three tabs? Print each one with Ctrl+P. Nothing to install, and you pick the printer or Save as PDF for each page.
  • You need a separate PDF per tab, or you already use a PDF tool you trust? Save each tab as PDF and merge the files with that tool. It takes more clicks, but no extension needs access to your tabs.
  • You want one combined preview and one print dialog for many tabs? MultiTab Print does that, and only asks for site access when you print. It has limits: 50 MB per PDF, 300 pages per job, 50 tabs per job, and some pages cannot always be reproduced. The preview marks any tab that was not fully captured.
  • You need unattended printing to a printer? Check whether Print All Tabs Automatically (with Counter) fits. Its listing says Chrome must be launched with a special flag.
  • Any extension from the table? Read its listing, its permissions and its reviews before installing. Several listings show few ratings, and one shows 2.2 of 5. Permissions were not stated on the four Chrome listings we read.

Using Firefox? MultiTab Print is available from Firefox Add-ons. We did not find another Firefox add-on whose listing we could verify as printing many tabs at once, so the table does not list one. Edge users install MultiTab Print from the Chrome Web Store, and Edge may ask you to allow extensions from other stores the first time.

How we checked

  • We searched the web for "print all tabs" and "print multiple tabs" extensions and read the public Chrome Web Store listings for the four that appeared most.
  • Facts come from the listings as displayed on 2026-10-26. Where a listing did not show a field, the table says "not stated". We did not install the extensions to test them.
  • Our own row uses our listing copy and product facts. We will recheck every row every 3 months and update the date above when we do.
  • Store ratings and user counts change often; check the store page before you decide.
